Peace - What are you doing for peace?

-- Quote of the Day --

"What usually happens in the educational process is that the faculties are dulled, overloaded, stuffed and paralyzed, so that by the time that most people are mature they have lost use of many of their innate capabilities."

~ R. Buckminster Fuller

Today, Sept 21st, we celebrate the International Day of Peace across the planet. Such a perfect holiday to bring awareness and education on communication and life skills to ease the effects of conflict. Of course we can never avoid conflict - it is a fact of every-day life, but we do need to be able to agree to disagree peacefully.

www.un.org states that this year's theme is to reach out to youth groups, organizations, schools and others - and ask the question: "What are you doing for peace?" An interesting question for sure, and it brings home the fact that it is up to the individual to make this goal a reality.

I've listed here some interviews re Peace that you may want to check out...titles are hyper-linked so just click with the mouse to access the interviews.
