You know that I just love to feature interesting new recycling technology especially when it means that we can now recover a material that was inaccessible before. Today I'd like to share information about a rare earth metal known as Neodymium (Nd), which is used in the production of high-performance and permanent magnets. So now, using the technology developed by the Institute of Industrial Science (Tokyo, Japan) we will soon be able to recycle scrap magnets from a wide variety of devices.

    More and more people should be informed about this! It's a tedious and messy job to constantly clean up reusable diapers but it makes a huge difference.
