Composting, Rain and Book Reviews

-- Conscious Discussions Talk Radio --

Sunday Gardening today at 10 AM (Pacific):

Chris McLaughlin is a passionate Master Gardener, has written several gardening books, teaches kids gardening skills, and actively writes for several online sites. Her work tends to focus on guiding and encouraging gardeners living in suburban or urban spaces to grow food in their own backyards. Join us today for a conversation about Black Gold  - a.k.a. "compost"

Do you ever wonder what it is like to be a book reviewer? Wouldn't it be nice to understand their world a little so that you can build better relationships with book reviewers?  If so, you'll want to check out our article published today on: http://www.amiblackwelder.blogspot.com

-- Chatter --

Live has been harried as of late with so much to do in the yard, a landscaping project, home improvement projects and putting our house up for sale. WHEW! Finally, the gardening is caught up, the spring chores are done, the house is spotless... and I can breathe again. Back to work in the office though, playing catch up there - since I've neglected it so much this month. Often I fantasize about splitting myself into about a dozen people - just to get everything done. (ha, ha) The worst, for me, is the inability to make time for new writing projects. This last year its been all about the new editions and the conversion to e-books... and even this project is a little bit behind schedule, since we only have them out in one of the four recommended formats. (sigh) And the rain just keeps on coming, doesn't it? We have two rivers in the area threatening to breach their banks at any moment and while our neighborhood is totally safe from flooding impact, we are concerned just the same for the threatened areas. Soon we'll be complaining about the heat and not enough rain though, just you wait! -lol-
