-- Quote of the Day --

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. If we all did the things that we are capable of doing, we would literally astound ourselves.”

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be known for your disability rather than your ability? Victoria Marin joins us today – an Occupational Therapist, mother of 5 children, and author based in New Jersey, USA – who is here to talk about the challenges her Autistic son faced as a young boy. She wrote a wonderfully moving book telling based on some of these experiences titled Aiden’s Waltz, which we’ll learn about in this interview as well.  In her career, Victoria once held a position in the Metropolitan Occupational Therapy Education Council and was a member of the Dominican College Professional Advisory Council.  As an adjunct professor at Rockland Community College, she instructed students in the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
