Writing Advice

-- Quote of the Day --

“…When you wake up in the morning you want to feel like part of you is moving the world in the direction you want to see …do good work even if it small, and don’t feel that it is inconsequential or not enough. Advice for writers particularly is to take your self seriously and to love the work that you do and to have confidence to put it in an envelope and send it to an editor because many of the awards that I have won would never have happened if I didn’t put it out there. People get concerned about their work being not good enough and you need to get it out there.”

~ Joan Gelfand
